December will be another busy month for us here at The Golden Closet. We are currently in the process of cataloguing many new items to be featured on our website, including Daniel Day-Lewis wardrobe from his Oscar winning role in the Academy Award winning film “There Will Be Blood”, principle wardrobe from the series Deadwood, new John Wayne items, and Johnny Depp’s wardrobe from “Blow”. We’ve also added some exciting new prop items from a wide variety of films and series such as “The Matrix”, “Minority Report”, and “Starship Troopers”.
The Golden Closet has been working closely with several live auction houses recently, and exciting new pieces from our Sopranos collection and others will be featured in an upcoming Christie’s auction to be held in London early this month. Details can be found at this link:

Our recent participation in online collector forums are slowly leading to new friends and contacts within the collecting community, and we feel very fortunate to be featured in a soon to be launched online magazine courtesy of the fine people at The Motion Picture Prop Company (themppc.com). We’d like to thank Mr. Lee Malone and the other fine folks from the MPPC site for generously including us in their new project and look forward to hopefully making some new friends and clients from the increased exposure.
