This black tuxedo jacket was worn by the character “Henry Gondorff” portrayed by legendary actor Paul Newman in the 1973 motion picture “The Sting” also starring Robert Redford. Mr. Newman wore this garment during the climactic end of the picture during “The Sting” sequence where he and partner Johnny Hooker (Redford) pull off their elaborate confidence scheme in a staged betting parlor.
