These costume pieces were made for the character, “Catwoman” portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer in the 1992 film, “Batman Returns”, directed by Tim Burton. This collection of Catwoman costume pieces include a set of 20+ “back up” latex stiches made for a stage 1 Catwoman latex suit, (screen used stiches were adhered to the latex suits with glue and the edges were hand painted to hide the seams), production used bottle of black paint, brushes, and production Polaroid with the stage 3 stiches are included with the sale. Custom made aluminum nose-bridge which was inserted inside of the cowls to contoure the mask to Pfeiffer’s face. Famed sculptor Jose Fernandez who created the Catwoman cowls, hand made the aluminum nose bridges and his inspiration was the flexible metal bridge in painter’s masks. Also included are additional cowl hair pieces backed with spandex and numbered, latex samples in various colors and production used storage box with “Catwoman III” hand written.
