This white vertically embroidered knit short sleeve shirt by St. Croix was worn by the character Tony Soprano played by actor James Gandolfini in H.B.O.'s award winning series "The Sopranos". Mr. Gandolfini wore the shirt in "Where's Johnny?" (Season 5, Episode 3) during the opening sequence inside Bada Bing where Tony Soprano talks with Tony Blundetto about the night of the hijacking that sent Tony B to prison for fifteen years. Also worn in "All Happy Families" (Season 5, Episode 4) during the scene where the Sopranos crew discusses Little Carmine and Johnny Sack's rivalry in the office of the Crazy Horse.
This garment is part of Mr. Gandolfini's personal collection of Tony Soprano wardrobe that he acquired after the Sopranos series ended. Accompanied by a COA from the costume house. |
