This coat was worn by a background character in the classic television series “Laverne and Shirley”, which ran from 1976-1983. The employee lab coat has the iconic “Shotz Beer” logo printed on the right breast and has white button front closure. Laverne and Shirley’s fellow “Shotz Beer” coworkers can be seen wearing these coats most notably throughout the first season in the Shotz Brewery break room and in the opening credits.
“Laverne and Shirley,” which ran from 1976-1983, was a spin-off from “Happy Days,” and starred Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams.
