The 1980’s full-length gown is constructed out of a red sequined material with silver trim and a red feather boa. A few strands of sequins have unraveled near the waist and are visible at the seams. Included is the original costumer’s “HOLD” tag with the following information, “#3 ‘Loray’, UNTITLED DIABLO CODY PROJECT, Ch. 1/N2 Sc.35, Dress - #34007256, Boa – NO # red feather.”
Ms. Spencer wears this dress in the scene when “Loray” performs on stage at the “Hi-Lo Room”. Loray is depressed after being booed off stage while singing a “Radiohead” song, so William pours her a drink to cheer her up. The moody Loray insults Lamb, assuming her to be an aspiring showgirl, leading Lamb to follow Loray to clarify who she really is.
