This suit was worn by the character "H.R. Haldeman," portrayed by actor James Woods, in the 1995 motion picture, "Nixon." The navy two piece suit was custom tailored for Mr. Woods by Motion Picture Costume House and has the original MPCC tag sewn inside the breast pocket and the pant’s interior waistband with "James Woods" and "MO. 0519" clearly typed. Attached to the lapel is an American flag pin.
Mr. Woods appeared wearing the suit in a sequence in the Oval Office when Halderman speaks with President Nixon (Anthony Hopkins). "Nixon," was nominated for four Academy Awards and a Golden Globe award.
