Alice (Linda Lavlin)
Signature Mel's Diner Waitress Uniform
Item # T0045
NEW FEATURED ITEM!
This pink waitress uniform shirt with polka dot trim was worn by Linda Lavin as “Alice” in the hit television series “Alice”, which ran from 1976-1985. Lavin wore the same or similar garment while playing the title role in multiple episodes of the hit television series, which was loosely based on the motion picture "Alice doesn't live here Anymore" (Warner Bros., 1974). The sitcom followed the hilarious misadventures of a recently widowed mother from New Jersey that winds up working in a greasy spoon café somewhere in the middle of Phoenix. This Mel’s Diner uniform was the same type of garment worn by Mel’s other waitresses, including Vera (Beth Howland), and the wisecracking Flo (Polly Holliday), who was later replaced by Diane Ladd on the series. This is the last of the Linda Lavlin signature waitress uniforms in out inventory!
