This iconic outfit was worn by “Al Bundy” portrayed by actor Ed O’Neill in the television series “Married… with Children”. This costume consists of a “Rick Pallack” three-piece black suit with gray chalk pinstripes, including a jacket with notched lapels, two button closure, and two lower flap pockets, a vest with five button closure and two lower welt pockets, and pants with two front slash pockets and two back welt pockets. Attached to this outfit is are two costumer tags with “Ed’s Godfather Suit” on the front, and “3 pc – navy//striped suit, navy w/ grey chalk stripes, (Rick Pollack) 46, 36x33” handwritten in black ink on one, and “Ed O’Neil ‘Godfather Suit’ MWC” handwritten in black ink on the other.
Mr. O’Neill wears this costume in Season 5 Episode 13 “The Godfather”, in which his daughter “Kelly” (Christina Applegate) is dating a powerful city official whom Al uses to fix neighborhood problems. Al wears this costume as he explains his scheme to get the city’s meter maid shoe contract to his wife “Peg” (Katy Sagal) and their son “Bud” (David Faustino). Married… with Children was an American sitcom broadcasted on Fox from 1987 through 1997. The series revolves around the lives of a dysfunctional family living in the suburbs of Chicago. Married... with Children is widely regarded to be a cult classic, and its 11 season, 262 episode run makes it the longest lasting live-action sitcom on Fox. These items are in excellent screen worn condition and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
