This sport coat was worn by the character “Tony Angelo” portrayed by George Raft in “Nob Hill”, TCF, 1945. The dark blue wool sport coat has a notch lapel, three lower flap pockets, and four button front closure (one broken), Internal Macintosh label, inscribed “George Raft 42SH, July-44, 9324”, 20th Century Fox label typed “A-443, G. Raft, size 42, inv. 3-41-10 2167”, stamped in sleeve “20th Century Fox” and inscribed “27099-1, Fox, 47542-6”).
Mr. Raft wore this coat when Joan Bennett “Harriet Carruthers” gives Peggy Ann Garner “Katie Flanagan” a new dress.
This costume is in very good screen used condition and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
