| This costume change was worn by the character “Dmitri Gredenko” portrayed by actor Rade Serbedzija in the sixth season of the iconic television series “24”. The outfit consists of a brown wool striped sweater that is missing an arm and distressed with blood, an olive suede jacket by ISDA & Company, and a body suit with attached “arm stump” also distressed with stage blood.
Gredenko wore this costume change in “Day 6: 9:00pm – 10:00pm” (Season 6, Episode 16) at the end of a series of scenes in which "Jack Bauer" (Kiefer Sutherland) has an isotope transmitter injected into the arm of weapons dealer Gredenko in order to track him while using the man as bait to locate terrorist mastermind "Abu Fayed" (Adoni Maropis). Bauer’s plan fails miserably when Fayed discovers that Gredenko has been wired by the Feds, and then learns of the internal transmitter. While not seen onscreen, Fayed saws off Gredenko’s arm off in order to give them both time to escape, leaving Jack to later find the severed arm in the building where he’d hoped to find the two men. Gredenko is then seen wearing this exact costume in the scene after losing his arm and dies from his injury while walking in the surf beneath the Santa Monica Pier.
The costume and bodysuit are in extreme hand distressed condition with applied faux blood as seen in the series and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume supervisor who worked on the show.
