This suit was worn by the character "John Gage," portrayed by legendary actor Robert Redford, in the 1993 motion picture, "Indecent Proposal." The outfit consists of a tailored two piece suit by Cerruti Couture, custom white dress shirt, a patterned Armani tie, and genuine alligator leather belt. The shirt was custom made for use by Mr. Redford by Anto Shirtmakers of Beverly Hills and is complete with the original tailor's tag sewn into the collar listing the actor's initials "R.R." and the production date "June 1992."
Mr. Redford wore the outfit during the pivotal scene where John Gage and Diana Murphy (Demi Moore) are confronted in the rain by a drunk and distraught David Murphy (Woody Harrelson), who has tailed them to a restaurant in a desperate attempt to win back his estranged wife, the suit is concealed beneath the coat.
