This custom made Nat Wise dress shirt belonged to Frank Sinatra and was a part of his personal wardrobe. The shirt is constructed of orange silk with pearl buttons and internal Nat Wise and Frank Sinatra labels. Mr. Sinatra had numerous dress shirts made by Nat Wise in the same style but various different colors and fabric. Sinatra wore a similar shirt during rehearsal for his television special, “Ol Blue Eyes is Back”. Promotional images capture Sinatra laughing with his old co-star Gene Kelly during their song-and-dance rehearsal process. The last time these two starred together was 30 years prior in “Anchors Aweigh”.
A printed copy of the images are included with the sale of the shirt.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Sinatra’s personal costumer and assistant Michael Castellano.
