The continuity book was created for the 1998 production of “John Carpenter’s Vampires”. The binder contains a shooting schedule, continuity breakdown of each character including detailed costume notes and scene numbers, continuity Polaroids of each character including; Jack Crow (James Woods), Anthony Montoya (Daniel Baldwin), Katrina (Sheryl Lee), Jan Valek (Thomas Ian Griffith) and a plethora of background vampires in bloody and graphic gore makeup.
The 1998 release of “John Carpenter’s Vampires” was an adaptation from the novel of the same name by John Steakley. The film, directed and scored by John Carpenter, opened at #1 at the box office eventually becoming Mr. Carpenter’s most successful film of the 90’s. James Woods stars as Jack Crow, the leader of a team of vampire hunters trying to prevent a centuries-old cross from falling into the hands of Valek (Thomas Ian Griffith), the first and most powerful of all vampires.
