This suit was worn by the character “Agent Brandt” portrayed by Jeremy Renner in the 2011 blockbuster film “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol”, the fourth installment of the internationally successful “Mission Impossible” franchise starring Tom Cruise. The two piece tan suit with blue flecks has a notch lapel, slash breast pocket, two lower flap pockets, three button cuff, and two button closure, matching flat front pant with slash pockets, and two rear pockets. The suit was custom made by Eastern Costume Companies head tailor Guilberto Guzman specifically for Renner. Internal Eastern Costume labels with size 40 and M4 hand written in black ink, and a “Mission Impossible” label with “40 Suit” hand written in black ink.
Mr. Renner wears this suit throughout some of the most epic action sequences in the film. Including when Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) scales the outside of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa building in Dubai, and when Ethan Hunt and Brandt steal the nuclear launch codes from Sabine Moreau (Leá Seydeux).
The “Mission Impossible” film franchise ignited onto film screens in 1996 with the first installment, and has since produced four sequels with a fifth mission coming to theaters in 2018. The films are based on the 1966 television series of the same name starred Peter Graves, Martin Landau, and Leonard Nimoy.
This item is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
