This suit was worn by the character “Capt. Adam Greer” portrayed by Tiege Andrews in the television crime drama “Mod Squad” (1968-1973). The 1960’s two-piece Louis Roth custom-tailored grey and black houndstooth suit consists of a jacket with a peak lapel, single-button front closure, two lower slash pockets, folded cuff with v-detail, and the interior jacket lining is deteriorating at the shoulders. Matching flat-front pant with side buckle, slash pockets, and two small tears in the left pant leg. Internal Louise Roth jacket label with “Tiege Andrews” handwritten in black ink.
Mr. Andrews can be seen wearing the suit throughout season one; most notably in Season 1, Episode 10 “Love” when he is speaking with the Squad members Pete (Michael Cole), Linc (Clarence Williams III), and Julie (Peggy Lipton) about a kidnapping case they are having trouble solving.
This item is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
