This shirt was worn by the character Louis Dega portrayed by legendary actor Dustin Hoffman in the epic film “Papillon” starring Steve McQueen. The shirt was custom tailored by Western Costume Company especially for use by Mr. Hoffman. The Western Costume label is sewn inside the garment and has Dustin Hoffman’s name and made to order numbers 2194-1 typed in black ink. The shirt was worn in multiple scenes throughout the film and is in excellent condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
