This costume was worn by the character “Fletcher” portrayed by J.K. Simmons in the 2014 Academy Award winning motion picture “Whiplash”. This costume consists of a two piece Carloorestes Exclusive black suit with notch lapel, two- button closure, welt breast pocket, tow lower flap pockets and faux blood stain on left breast, pants with two slash pockets, two back welt pockets and zip fly, and black Banana Republic crewneck t-shirt. Clothes were dry cleaned post production and faux bloodstain has faded.
Mr. Simmons wears a version of this signature costume throughout the film. This costume was screen matched to the scene after the car accident where “Andrew” (Miles Teller) is speeding to the "Dunellen Competition" and gets into a car accident. Despite the major head trauma and blood running into his eyes, Andrew runs on foot to the concert hall and attempts to perform. Fletcher tells him, "You’re finished!” Andrew, infuriated, leaps overs the drums, across the stage, and tackles Fletcher, leaving the faux blood on Fletcher’s suit.
