This uniform was worn by “Ricky Stratton” portrayed by actor Ricky Schroder in the television series “Silver Spoons”. This uniform is comprised of a navy blue blazer with a three button closure, two upper pouch pockets, two lower patch pockets, yellow striping around the cuffs, and also includes a matching pair of pants. Attached to this outfit are two production hold tags with “Ricky Schroder, Pilot, ‘Silver Spoons’” and “Jacket 10, pants, 23/23” handwritten in black ink.
Mr. Schroder wears this uniform in S1E1 “Pilot”, during which he meets his father “Edward” (Joel Higgins) for the first time, helping him stop one of his associates, “Louis” (Robert Picardo), from embezzling his wealth. While the item is not seen on screen (note the smaller size and black buttons) it was likely intended for the original pilot, as indicated by the production tags. Silver Spoon’s was an American sitcom broadcasted on NBC from 1982 through 1986. Silver Spoon’s, considered to be a cult classic, follows the misadventures of a young boy and his millionaire father. The series ran for 5 seasons with a total 116 episodes. This costume is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
