The deep blue and white striped period skirt was worn by the character “Olivia Harwood” as portrayed by actor Ann Todd in the 1948 motion picture “So Evil My Love”. The skirt has an apron, bustle, hook and eye back closure with royal blue velvet panel along the hemline, which was added for use in a subsequent production. Internal Paramount label inscribed “Ann Todd #11” and a “Property of Paramount Pictures Ladies Wardrobe” stamp are present.

Ms. Todd wears this garment when she gives her husband, “Mark Bellis” (Raymond Huntley), her remedy.

This garment is in excellent vintage condition, and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
