This period costume worn by Mari Blanchard as “Lou Carter” in the 1954 motion picture “Rails Into Laramie”. The jaquard costume consists of a fitted boned bodice with gathered satin trim, and puffed sleeves and a full skirt with satin panels. A Universal label inscribed "Mari Blanchard" is present in the skirt. Costume design by Bill Thomas. This top shows signs of slight alterations but in overall good conditions.
This garment is in good vintage condition, and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
