This coat was worn by the character “Richie DiMaso” portrayed by the actor Bradley Cooper in the 2013 motion picture “American Hustle. This vintage 1970’s double breasted tan corduroy overcoat has six button closure, over sized collar, slash pockets, and self-belt.
Mr. Cooper wears this coat on the tarmac when he introduces Sheik Abdullah (undercover FBI Agent Hernandez) to Mayor Carmine Polito (Jeremy Renner).
“American Hustle” was directed by David O’ Russell, written by Eric Warren Singer and starred, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Copper, and Jennifer Lawrence. The critically acclaimed film received ten Academy Award nominations including, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Writing (Original Screen Play), but did not win in any category.
