This complete costume was worn by the character “First Lady Martha Logan” portrayed by actress Jean Smart in the fifth season of the award winning series “24”, which ran from 2001 to 2010. The outfit consists of a dark purple two-piece skirt suit by St. John, a light purple silk wrap shirt custom made for the actress by Bill Hargate Costumes, and a pair of black kitten heel pumps with jeweled toe clips by Albert Nipon.

The actress was first seen wearing the shirt and skirt combination in multiple scenes of Episode 2 (“Day 5: 8:00am – 9:00am”) after learning of the assassination of “Former President David Palmer” (Dennis Haysbert). She again appears wearing the complete suit with shirt visible beneath the unbuttoned jacket in several scenes of Episode 3 (Day 5: 9:00am – 10:00am) such as when watching news of the airport terrorists’ demands and while trying to discover who set her up by altering a recording of her phone call to President Palmer prior to his death. In Episode 4 (“Day 5: 10:00am – 11:00am”) she wears the costume with and without the jacket in several pivotal scenes up through Episode 5 when she finally switches wardrobe after recovering from being knocked out with ether by “Walt Cummings” (John Allen Nelson).

The actress can also be seen wearing this complete costume in an image from the book “24: Behind The Scenes”. The garments are all in excellent screen worn condition and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
