This cream long sleeve silk shirt with dotted red and black striping was worn by the character “Doc Holliday” portrayed by actor Dennis Quaid in the 1994 motion picture “Wyatt Earp” starring Kevin Costner, Gene Hackman, and Michael Madsen. The shirt was custom tailored for use by Mr. Quaid and comes complete with the original Venice Custom Shirts tag that has an additional sewn in label listing the production date “MAY ’93” inside. Mr. Quaid wore the shirt in numerous scenes throughout the picture.
“Wyatt Earp” was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Cinematography in 1994.
The garment is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
