This pair of black leather pants was worn by actor Val Kilmer in his portrayal of legendary singer/poet Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone’s 1991 motion picture “The Doors” which followed the rise and tragic fall of one of the best loved performers/bands of the 60’s music scene. Black leather pants were part of Morrison’s signature look and Mr. Kilmer appeared wearing these in multiple scenes throughout the film, most notably during the infamous 1969 Miami concert scene, where Morrison shows up late, and then tries to incite mayhem in the audience as naked fans keep fighting their way on stage. Morrison’s antics lead the police to arrest him when they think he’s exposed himself.
