The gold Star Fleet uniform was custom made for the original Star Trek series and was acquired direct from Paramount Studios Wardrobe department. The uniform has two slant breast pockets, zip from closure, lined in grey fabric, and internal "Paramount" red dry cleaning tag. The sleeves may have been removed for use in an unidentified episode or for use in a subsequent production. The seams where the sleeves were removed are elegantly hand sewn, which is a sign that the garment was in camera frame. The costume is in excellent condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
