This pair of cream aviator’s pants were worn by the character "Sheila Mason" portrayed by legendary actress Myrna Loy in the 1935 motion picture 'Wings In The Dark', also starring Cary Grant. In the film, Cary Grant plays the role of Ken Gordon, an aviation expert and pilot who’s accidentally blinded in a stove explosion and attempts to support himself selling articles to magazines with no success.

Miss Loy wore the garment in the scene where her character collects the pay from one of her stunt pilot performances from the office of a county fair manager in order to give the money to Gordon to make him believe that the magazines he’s submitted to have published his articles. The actress also appeared wearing the jodhpurs in a promotional image for the film.

The pants are in very good screen worn condition and have the original wardrobe label sewn inside with the name 'Myrna Loy' clearly written. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.

Presented by The Golden Closet, your premier source for iconic screen used movie wardrobe, props, and collectible music entertainment memorabilia.
