This performance costume was worn by the character "James 'Thunder' Early," portrayed by Eddie Murphy, in the 2006 musical film, "Dreamgirls." The costum consists of custom made two piece gold lame tuxedo with satin lapels and pocket trim, white long-sleeve silk button down shirt with “EM” written in black ink and “Jan 2006” typed on the label. The bow tie is fro display purposes only and is not included. Costumers tag attached with “Dreamgirls, character: Jimmy, Actor: EM, Change: 5, Day: N8 1962, Scenes: #25-29, description: Int/Detroit Theatre” written on it. Mr. Murphy wore this costume while performing on stage with the Dreamettes.
