This nurse hat was worn by the character “Miss Jane Hathaway” portrayed by Lily Tomlin, in the 20th Century Fox production, “The Beverly Hillbillies”. The white nurse cap has a stitched border, white button closure, and internal “Kay Caps” label and bias tape with “LILY TOMLIN” printed in black.
Ms. Tomlin wears the nurses hat when she poses as a nurse and breaks out Granny (Cloris Leachman) from a retirement home. Miss Jane Hathaway and Granny ride in on a monster stuck to Jed Clampett (Jim Varney) and Laura Jackson’s (Lea Thompson) wedding, and reveal that Laura Jackson is a fraud who is marrying Jed to steal his money.
This hat is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
