This red and white silk jockey shirt was worn by the character Red Pollard portrayed by actor Tobey Maguire in the 2003 motion picture “Seabiscuit” starring Jeff Bridges and Elizabeth Banks. The actor wore this signature shirt during all the extensive horse racing sequences when Pollard rides Seabiscuit into racing history, eventually establishing the animal as the most money winning horse of all time. The signature jersey has the inverted triangle “H” logo on the breast as seen in the film and also appears on the cover of the DVD release and in other promotional posters and lobby cards. The actor's initials "T.M." are handwritten in slightly faded ink on the collar's hang loop and the garment is in excellent screen worn condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
