This dress was worn by Maureen O’Sullivan as “Sara Harper” in “All I Desire” (Universal Int’l, 1955). The light brown two-piece period dress consist of a fitted jacket with peplum hemline, squiggle embroidered detail, dark brown velvet lapel, eight covered buttons and lined in cinnamon. Matching long full skirt with hook & eye back closure. Internal Universal International labels handwritten, “Adrienne Marden” in both garments. Designed by Bill Thomas.
The dress was also worn by Adrienne Marden as “Marjorie Huggins” in “One Desire” (Universal Int’l, 1955)
The garments are in excellent vintage condition and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the costume house.
