This coat was made for the infamous actor John Wayne for use in an unidentified production. The custom made brown frock coat has a notch lapel, three button front closure and two flap lower pockets. Internal Western Costume Company label with “2481-1, John Wayne, chest “46” Chg. 3” typed in black ink.
This item is in excellent vintage condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
