| This dark blue wool crepe double-breasted suit by Bugatchi Uomo was worn by the character Paulie “Walnuts” Gualtieri played by actor Tony Siricio in HBO’s award-winning series “The Sopranos”. The costumer’s tag includes the name “Paulie” handwritten on one side and “The Sopranos” stamped on the reverse side.
Mr. Siricio wore this suit in “Another Toothpick” (Season 3, Episode 5) during the scene where he’s sitting around a large table having dinner with Johnny Sack, Tony Soprano and Ralphie Cifaretto discussing a retaliatory hit on Salvatore Intile, nicknamed "Mustang Sally." The discussion becomes heated when Ralphie ridicules the idea of who Gigi has chosen to carry out the hit. Tony reminds everyone at the table that “Gigi calls the shots in the crew.” In the scene Mr. Siricio is wearing the suit with a white pin-striped dress shirt and purple tie.
Mr. Siricio is also wearing the suit in “Mergers & Acquisitions” (Season 4, Episode 8) during the scene where he is visiting Cookie’s son Chuckie, a high school principal. After giving him a rolling suitcase as a gift, Paulie discusses Nucci and Cookie's relationship and asks Chuckie to talk to his mother about getting along with Nucci. Chuckie tries to convince Paulie that he cannot intervene in his mother's social life. In this scene, Mr. Siricio is wearing the suit underneath a camel overcoat and pairs it with a white dress shirt and a piano patterned tie.
The item is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
