Cherie wore the outfit in the scene at the rolling rink after a Runaways performance when she and band-mate “Joan Jett” (Kristen Stewart) exchange a kiss.
“The Runaways” was based on the true story of the groundbreaking all-girl rock group produced by Kim Fowley in the 1970’s, whose members included Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Sandy West, and Cherie Curry.
