This outfit was worn by singer Rihanna in the video for her song “Only Girl (In The World)” which was featured on her fifth studio album “Loud”, released on November 12th, 2010 by Island Def Jam Records. The outfit consists of a vintage white ruched two-piece bathing suit with metal eyelets and a cream woven shawl with feathered tassels.
Rihanna appeared wearing the costume wardrobe in multiple scenes throughout the video, which premiered on Oct. 13th, 2010 on MTV and was directed by her longtime collaborator Anthony Mandler. The garments are in very good screen used condition.
“Only Girl (In The World)” was the singer’s first single off of “Loud”. The song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 list, making Rihanna the artist with the most number one songs on Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 chart to date.
The garments are in excellent condition and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house that provided it for Rihanna’s use during filming.
