This black wool 1950's style 2-button jacket with small white windopane plaid pattern and black slacks were custom made by Western Costume Company for Kevin Spacey playing the part of Detective Jack Vincennes in the 1997 Oscar winning film L.A. CONFIDENTIAL, which also starred Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce and Kim Basinger. Mr. Spacey wears the jacket and pants as he visits a sound stage during the taping of a TV detective show where he moonlights as a technical consultant. The pants are also worn in various scenes set in the detective's squad room. Both pieces are in excellent screen-worn condition and come with the original Western Costume labels with KEVIN SPACEY and 2426I-I*L.A.C clearly typed. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
