This Beretta 85 pistol was used by the character Tony Soprano, portrayed by actor James Gandolfini, in the award winning series “The Sopranos”. The gun has been modified to fire blank rounds only and has the serial number D11606Y. Weapons Specialists Ltd. leased the firearm directly to the production company for use in the series.

Mr. Gandolfini can be seen firing the weapon in “I Dream of Jeannie Cusamano” (Season 1, Episode 13) during the sequence where Tony surprises Chucky Signore on the docks of the Liberty Landing Marina, pulls the Beretta out of the mouth of a large fish he’s carrying and shoots Chucky to death on the deck of his boat. Tony and Silvio Dante then take the boat out to deep waters to dispose of the corpse, erasing evidence of their involvement in the “preemptive strike” against a high-ranking soldier loyal to Tony’s Uncle Junior, who Tony fears may be planning to organize another hit against him after an earlier failed attempt. The item is in good used condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity.

THE WEAPON CANNOT FIRE LIVE AMMUNITION AND HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO FIRE BLANKS. THE ITEM WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY CERTIFICATION AND A COPY OF THE RENTAL RECORDS FROM THE ENTERTAINMENT ARMORER WHO PROVIDED THE WEAPONS TO THE PRODUCTION.
