This costume was worn by the character “Connor Rooney” portrayed by Daniel Craig in the 2002 motion picture “Road to Perdition”, starring Tom Hanks and Jude Law. This custom made 1930’s costume consists of a three-piece navy pinstripe suit, blue diamond pattern button down dress shirt with red stripes, and suspenders. Costumer production hold tag attached with “RTP, 1 costume: Connor played by Daniel Craig, 1 suit, 3 pc, 1 dress shirt, Missing: shoes, sox (with other costumes), cufflinks, tie, suspenders, collar bar, donation/auction” hand written.
Mr. Craig wore this costume when he is in Nitti's (Stanley Tucci) office and the two argue over Connor's handling of the Sullivan situation. “Road to Perdition” was nominated for six Academy Awards. The plot takes place in 1931, during the Great Depression, following a mob enforcer and his son as they seek vengeance against a mobster who murdered the rest of their family.
