This shirt was worn by the character "Breck Stancill," portrayed by legendary actor Richard Burton, in the 1974 motion picture, "The Klansman." The long sleeve collared shirt is constructed of beige wool flannel with black and yellow windowpane plaid pattern and has the original Western Costume Company label sewn inside with the name "Richard Burton" clearly typed.

Mr. Burton wore this shirt in numerous key scenes throughout the film. Notable scenes include those shared with "Sheriff Track Bascomb" (Lee Marvin), "Nancy Poteet" (Linda Evans), the rape victim whose sexual assault sparks off racist reactions and violence among the citizens of Atoka County, and "Garth" (O.J. Simpson), the man wrongfully accused of her rape. The actor also appeared wearing the shirt in several scenes of the film's official trailer.

The shirt is in very good vintage screen worn condition with some minor shrinkage due to washing. . The original buttons in the front have been rigged with Velcro for use in a subsequent production.
