This pair of reading glasses belonged to infamous entertainer, Frank Sinatra. The glasses have a tortoise shell frame, clear prescription lenses and come in their original leather case. Text on the interior right side gives model and prescription strength, ‘ 126HA VAM +3.25’. Scratches to the frame and lenses are visible, and the stitching on the leather case is separating.

The glasses were acquired directly from Michael Castellano, who began working with the entertainer in 1976 after replacing Sinatra’s previous personal aid, Eddie Fitzsimmons. Mr. Castellano quickly became Sinatra’s “right hand man” and performed numerous duties for Mr. Sinatra while maintaining his stage and personal wardrobe collection.

Mr. Castellano received this garment as a personal gift from Sinatra prior to leaving his service in 1981, and retained the item in his possession since that time. The glasses are in good vintage condition and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Mr. Castellano.
