This garment was custom made for William Eythe to wear in “House On 92nd Street”. The navy blue wool self stripe suit coat has peak lapels, three button closure, three button cuffs, and flap front pockets. Internal “20th Century Fox” studio label with “Job: A-471 Date:4-45 Name: B. Eythe Size 42NV. 3-69-1 1498 - 3 pc” printed. “20th Century Fox” stamp is present in both sleeves. The Fox production number matches this production, but coat is not worn in the final version of the film.
This garment is in excellent vintage condition, and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
