This white tunic was worn by the character D' Artagnan portrayed by the actor Gene Kelly in the 1948 classic film The Three Musketeers, co-staring Lana Turner and June Alison. The tunic is constructed of a white cotton and has a large collar with tooled fringe attached. There is a MGM label sewn inside the collar with Gene Kelley's name and the production number 1420 4286 hand written. This film was nominated for Best Cinematography in the 1949 Academy Awards. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the costume house.
