This screen used prop was featured in the 1998 spy-thriller, “Enemy of the State.” This photograph was digitally printed on heavy matte paper and includes “1” handwritten on the back of the paper. The original color has faded due to age and there is a small water stain towards the center of the image. This prop photograph is seen within a photo frame at Edward Lyle’s (Gene Hackman) surveillance base, as he analyzes the data cartridge, which contains evidence of the congressman’s murder. The image features Lyle with a young Rachel Banks and her father on a fishing boat. A slightly different photographic print was used in an earlier scene when Robert Clayton Dean (Will Smith) sees it on the mantle of Rachel Banks’ home after finding her dead.

Directed by Tony Scott, “Enemy of the State” is a spy-thriller about a unit of rogue National Security Agents who assassinate a US Congressman and try to cover up the murder. A wildlife photographer “Zavitz” (Jason Lee) captures the incident on film and passes it onto “Robert Clayton Dean” (Will Smith) setting a chain of events that ultimately has Dean running for his life. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film went on to gross 250 million dollars worldwide. The prop is in good screen used condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
