This period skirt suit was worn by the character "Gloria Brent," portrayed by actress Ann Blyth, in the 1957 motion picture "The Buster Keaton Story." The gray three piece skirt suit is comprised of a sleeveless shell top, skirt, jack with white lapels, and a matching side self-fabric belt. The costume was design by Edith Head specifically for Ann Blyth at the Paramount Studios tailor shop. Both the jacket and shell top have the original Paramount labels sewn inside listing the actress' name in faded handwritten ink.

Ms. Blyth wore the outfit with the jacket during the scene in the film when Gloria decides to leave her husband Buster (Donald O'Connor), and appears wearing the outfit again without the jacket near the end of the film when her husband tries to convince her to return to him.

The outfit is in good screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house. Presented by The Golden Closet, your premiere source for screen used wardrobe, props, and entertainment memorabilia.
