This dark green Class A military jacket, black tie, bow tie and military dress shoes were worn by the character "Master Sergeant Ernest Bilko," portrayed by actor/comedian Steve Martin, in the 1996 motion picture, "Sgt. Bilko." The jacket has military patches and insignia as seen in the film and has the character name "BILKO" handwritten on the interior label.

Mr. Martin wore the shoes, jacket, and bowtie througout the film, specifically in the scene where he misses his wedding, and makes the excuse to his fiancé that he had been injured, also in the following scene where he recounts his history with Major Colin Thorn (Phil Hartman) to his men. The shirt and tie were worn throughout the film as well, specifically in a montage where 1st Lt. Oster (Chris Rock) is brought in to do a surprise inspection of Sgt. Bilko's camp. "Sgt. Bilko," starring Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Phil Hartman, and Chris Rock, follows the story of Sgt. Bilko (Martin) who is in charge of the Motor Pool at an Army base. He's a good-natured con man, providing gambling facilities for the soldiers on base. When an old enemy from his past shows up to inspect his records and steal away his fianceé, Rita (Glenne Headly), Sgt. Bilko has to put his skills to creative use.

The costume is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house. Presented by The Golden Closet, your premier source for iconic screen used movie wardrobe, props, and music entertainment memorabilia.
