This costume was worn by the character “Peg Bundy” portrayed by Katey Sagal in the iconic television series “Married… with Children”. The red a-line dress with white feather trim on the collar, cuffs, and hemline is accompanied by a pair of Fredrick’s Of Hollywood red heels worn in an unidentified episode. Ms. Segal preferred the Fredrick’s Of Hollywood shoes, she stated that it helped her with Peg’s movement and the shuffle walk.
Ms. Sagal is featured wearing the Mrs. Claus dress on the cover of the December 12th, 1992 issue of TV Guide. A copy of this issue is included with this costume. Married… with Children was an American sitcom broadcasted on Fox from 1987 through 1997. The series revolves around the lives of a dysfunctional family living in the suburbs of Chicago.
