This garment was made for and worn by famed English Boxer turned film star Victor McLaglen. The Vintage 1940’s coat with light blue check pattern, notch lapels, slant breast pocket, four button closure, two flap pockets, two button cuffs (one button missing on left cuff), single vent is in excellent condition. Internal “Macintosh Studio Clothes” with “Mr. Victor Mc Laglen - Date: May 40 No. 65512” handwritten in black ink. Universal dry cleaning tag and “Universal Wardrobe Suit 3” stamp are present. This garment is in excellent vintage condition, and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
