This uniform was worn by the character “Victor Creed” portrayed by actor Liev Schreiber in the 2009 film “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, starring Hugh Jackman. This Civil War Union Army costume was custom made for the production and consists of a dark blue wool coat with stand collar, light blue piping, nine brass eagle buttons, two-button cuffs, and one bullet hole on the left breast. The light blue wool pants have a button fly, external suspender buttons, and slash pockets. . "Creed, Hero, 3” is hand written in black ink on the interior waistband.
This costume was worn in the opening sequence of the film, where Creed charges through a civil war battlefield with “Logan/Wolverine” (Hugh Jackman). X-MEN ORIGINS: Wolverine is the 4th installment in the XMEN franchise, grossing 179 million domestically U.S and Canada and 373 Million Globally.
