These jumpsuits were worn by the characters "Joel," "Andre," "Dolph," and "Clayton," portrayed by actors Joel Michaely, Douglas Spain, Dante Basco, and Kip Pardue, respectively, in the 1999 motion picture, "But I'm a Cheerleader." The blue short-sleeve jumpsuits with white and blue stripes along the shoulder and pant leg are constructed of polyester and cotton. Each respective character names are handwritten in faded black ink on the inside collar of the jumpsuit.

Mr. Michaely, Spain, Basco, and Pardue all wore these jumpsuits during the montage sequence where viewers are introduced to the various programs at True Directions, a reparative therapy camp that convert its campers to heterosexuality. "But I'm Not a Cheerleader," a satirical romantic comedy by Jamie Babbit, features Natasha Lyonne, Michelle Williams, Cathy Moriarty, Clea DuVall, and Rupaul. The film follows the story of Megan (Natasha Lyonn), a happy heterosexual high school cheerleader, who her friends and family are convinced is a homosexual and arrange for an intervention, sending her to reparative therapy camp to cure her lesbianism.

The jumpsuits are in good screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house. Presented by The Golden Closet, your premier source for iconic screen used motion picture, television, and music entertainment memorabilia.
