This black 2-piece suit was worn by the character “Father Curtis” portrayed by actor Henry Woronicz in the hit television series “Seinfeld” which ran from 1990-1998. The jacket was made by Malibu Clothes of Beverly Hills and still has the original costumer's hold tag attached with “Henry Woronicz”, “Father Curtis”, and the episode number “916” clearly written.
Mr. Woronicz wore the suit in "The Burning" (Season 9, Episode 16) where “Elaine” (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and “Puddy” (Patrick Warburton) seek out the advice of a priest and meet Father Curtis.
“The Burning” originally aired on Mar. 19th, 1998. “Seinfeld” ran for 9 seasons and Won 3 Golden Globes as well as another 57 additional wins & 111 nominations.
The suit is in excellent screen worn condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house.
